7BR is a leading set of Barristers’ Chambers, based in Central London, with a countrywide and international reach and which prides itself on upholding certain core values and characteristics with the aim of achieving:

With over 80 barristers, including 18 Queen’s Counsel, 7BR is well equipped to achieve these aims. They have recently completed the largest refurbishment in their history, enabling them to offer their lay clients, solicitors and colleagues across the Bar state of the art facilities to host conferences, seminars and training events on a frequent basis. This refurbishment is a measure of Chambers’ confidence in the continued existence of an independent Bar.
THE CHALLENGE:
7BR originally approached D&A Media to discuss the refurbishment of their meeting rooms and a seminar suite within their Chambers.
They were under going an extensive refurbishment and they required an audio visual (AV) integrator to work in tandem with the main contractor and the associated trades.
Their meeting rooms required the ability to be able to bring in their laptop and share content to the screen wirelessly, they also had a boardroom and a huddle room in which they needed a video conferencing system that would enable them to seamlessly connect to their clients and courts using any video conferencing platform. Their seminar suite can easily be converted into two rooms, and therefore required a system that could be easily managed in each room and adapted to individual events.
The systems were to be installed within their Chambers and had to be simple to use, reliable and most importantly, secure for their Barristers, Clerks and Support Staff.
THE SOLUTION:
Following our initial project meeting with the management team to ascertain the key objectives of 7BR going forward, D&A Media hosted a video conferencing call to discuss the refurbishment plans with members of 7BR, their IT and external contractors to enable us to obtain important information about room sizes, dimensions and timelines.
Working collaboratively with the main contractor and the project team from the outset of the project enabled D&A Media to deliver continually evolving technical information to support a smooth project delivery.
Working closely with the senior management team at 7BR, we provided a demonstration of the proposed 4K video conferencing system and cloud platform ensuring that all of their needs were met. As part of the solution we provided wireless sharing capabilities to further the ease of use and functionality within the rooms.
Within the seminar suite, a Crestron room control system, 4K video conferencing systems connected to a cloud platform was installed, to equip their Barristers, Clerks and Support Staff with a secure, flexible solution within Chambers, whilst also enabling the ability to connect remotely on any device.
Our technical experts continued to work together with 7BR to ensure that D&A Media had delivered every element of their requirements. This enables us to ensure we deploy a complete and fully encompassing solution, that would not only meet, but exceed their expectations.
